• A story is every outlet's articles about the same happening over a few days, grouped by reading them; each row is one you posted on, with your first article in it. Only posts at least two days old count, when nearly all their reactions are in: yours and theirs.
• Bigger outlets draw more reactions, but not in proportion: between outlets on the same story, ten times the followers brings about five times the reactions. So each other outlet's reactions per post are scaled that way to your 1,700 followers, and “Others at your size” is the middle of them. 2× is twice what they drew at your size; 0.5×, half.
• The other outlets are never named, and a story counts only when at least 5 of them posted: with fewer, the middle of them would be one outlet's number.
